YDC has mulitple ways for you to engage with your community, helping create a more positive future for Houston!

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
YDC is a 501(c)3 Not-for-profit and relies totally on private funding to promote our comprehensive after-school program that is free to low-income students.
Your generous support helps support a local at-risk child in the classroom and in the community.

PEER-TO-PEER FUNDRAISING
Whether you are entering a race, embarking on a journey, selling cupcakes, or doing any number of activities, you can help fundraise for YDC. We provide your own web page and link to easily collect funds that you can share through any social platform.
CORPORATE MATCHING GIFTS
Your employer may provide a matching gift for your donation. YDC will gladly provide the required documentation for this process.
CORPORATE GRANT PROGRAMS
Your employer may provide Grants to local charities. This may require a referral from employees to begin the process. YDC will gladly provide the necessary documentation or investigate grant programs on your behalf.
MEMORIAL GIFTS
Make a thoughtful memorial tribute by donating to improve the life of a YDC student. Please provide memorial contact information so that an acknowledgment can be made.

CORPORATE VOLUNTEER DAYS
Volunteer Days are an excellent way to bring the office together to make a positive difference in the community.
HOMEWORK TUTORIALS
Assist individual students with comprehending and preparing school homework assignments.
FIRST + SECOND GRADE LAB
Assist individual students with homework assignments, reading, and craft projects.
LIBRARY ASSISTANCE
Assist with keeping library books in order and helping students select and return books.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Assist with YDC’s annual Literacy Carnival, Christmas celebration, or Soiree.
